Production: Footloose

Pre-Audition Meeting:

Saturday, April 14th from 10am-noon in the Casa del Prado Theatre.


Please note, students 13 and over will be considered for both Footloose and Honk, unless they specifically list conflicts that prevent them from being able to participate in one of the shows.

Thursday, May 3rd from 4pm - 6pm
Friday, May 4th from 4pm-6pm


Saturday, May 5th from 9am-12pm


Auditions are by appointment only. Please check in at room 208 at least 15 minutes prior scheduled audition time.

What You’ll Need:

Please prepare a 1 minute song in the approriate key. An accompanist will be provided. Be prepared to move.

Callbacks:

Tuesday, May 8th from 4pm-8pm.  Students invited to callbacks are called for the entire time.

Callback List: Will be available here when determined.
Cast List: Will be available here when production has been cast.
Rehearsals:

June 5th - July 27th. Rehearsals are generally Tuesday-Friday, 4-6pm and Saturday, 1:30-3:30pm. You will not be called for every rehearsal. Students who are cast will get a detailed rehearsal schedule at the first rehearsal.

Tech Week:

Monday, July 16th -Thursday, July 26th

Performance Dates:

Friday, July 27th, August 3rd, August 10th at 7pm
Saturday, July 28th, August 4th, August 11th at 2pm
Sunday, July 29st, August 5th, August 12th at 2pm
There are two school shows: Wednesday, August 1st and Tuesday, August 7th

To audition, you’ll need an Footloose Audition Form (PDF) or Crew Form (PDF). Download from links at left, print, fill out and bring with you to your audition. Forms are also available at the main office.
Pre-requisites and Policies:

Applicants must be between the ages of 13-18, and enrolled in at least 2 weeks of summer camp. There is a $55.00 production fee. There are school shows during the week. Once applicants have auditioned, there is no refund or tuition credit granted.

August 13th-24th from 8:45am-2:45pm with an additional 2 weeks of afternoon and weekend rehearsals ar Roosevelt Junior High beginning October 29th.

Tech Week:

October 29th - November 8th

Performance Dates:

Fridays, November 9th and 16th at 7pm


Saturdays, November 10th and 17th (times TBD)


Sunday. November 11th (time TBD)


There will be one school day show.
